And So Forth is delighted to invite you to the latest of our Forums for artists and theatre creators: a free event giving attendees the opportunity to share practice, get advice, and air their ideas and experiences of various crucial elements of being an artist and making work.
Join us on Saturday 23rd September, 2-5pm at the Drayton Arms Theatre. Click HERE to book your free place.
What is it about?
And So Forth is dedicated not only to making collaborative work which transcends the boundaries of genre, but also to facilitating collaboration and opening up a dialogue within the industry to promote cross-disciplinary engagement and learning.
This event, ‘Exploring Collaboration’ aims to bring together companies from across the industry, along with artists who are interested in making collaborative work, to discuss their experiences and what collaboration means to them, both in terms of the work itself and in the pre-production process.
Who will be there?
As well as our attendees just like you, we’ll be joined by some exciting industry professionals from established theatre and opera companies who share our love for collaboration.
Not only will they offer their insider knowledge, but they can also to point you in the direction of other resources on our topic of Collaboration which you might find helpful.
How will it work?
The forum will be chaired by And So Forth Associate Director, Danielle Winter, and will take the form of an open, frank dialogue to which everyone will be invited to contribute.
Why is And So Forth holding this event?
We believe strongly in the power of dialogue not only between artists but also across disciplines: in the competitive world of the arts we have found again and again that giving practitioners the opportunity to get in a room together and actually talk can prove incredibly powerful – we don’t think this happens enough! Our previous forums have sent attendees away feeling empowered, informed and excited.
